The standard annual rate of retirement benefit for a participant who enters the Fund on or after 1 January 1983 is the sum of:

" ٧ -إذا كان المعدل السنوي القياسي ﻷي استحقاق بسبب التقاعد أو العجز حسب النظام اﻷساسي للصندوق يقل، قبل أي استبدال، عن أعلى مبلغ بالدولار في الجدول المنطبق أدناه، فإن الاستحقاق يخضع لتسوية استثنائية كما يلي:

٧ - إذا كان المعدل السنوي القياسي ﻷي استحقاق خاص بالتقاعد أو العجز حسب النظام اﻷساسي للصندوق، قبل أي استبدال، يقل عن أعلى مبلغ بالدولار مذكور في الجدول الذي ينطبق أدناه، يكون الاستحقاق رهنا بتسوية خاصة كما يلي:

(iii) If the rate is less than [300] 1,000 dollars, the benefit may be commuted to the extent of its full actuarial equivalent; if a participant is married, the prospective benefit payable to his or her spouse may also be commuted at the standard annual rate of such benefit.

(b) The benefit shall be payable at the standard annual rate for a retirement benefit, reduced for each year or part thereof by which the age of the participant on separation was less than the normal retirement age (60 or 62), at the rate of 6 per cent a year, except that:
(ب) يُدفَع الاستحقاق بالمعدل السنوي القياسي لاستحقاق المعاش التقاعدي مخفضاً بنسبة 6 في المائة في السنة، عن كل سنة أو جزء من السنة يقل فيها سن المشترك في تاريخ انتهاء خدمته عن السن العادية للتقاعد (60 أو 62 عاماً)، باستثناء الحالات التالية:

(d) The benefit shall be payable at the standard annual rate for a retirement benefit, reduced for each year or part thereof by which the age of the participant on separation was less than the normal retirement age (65), at the rate of 6 per cent a year, except that:
(د) يُدفَع الاستحقاق بالمعدل السنوي القياسي لاستحقاق التقاعد مخفضاً بنسبة 6 في المائة في السنة، عن كل سنة أو جزء من السنة يقل فيها سن المشترك في تاريخ انتهاء خدمته عن السن العادية للتقاعد (65 عاماً)، باستثناء الحالات التالية:

(b) The benefit shall be payable at the standard annual rate for a retirement benefit and shall commence at the normal retirement age, or, if the participant so elects, at any age not less than 55, provided that in such event it shall be reduced in the same manner and under the same conditions as specified in article 29 (b).
