In particular, it notes the State party's recent initiative to translate the Convention into seven local languages and to work in cooperation with the local media to encourage the broadcasting of programmes on child rights and the Convention, in local languages, throughout various regions of the country.

(14) The Committee welcomes the State party's recent attempts through legislation and policy to enhance the participation of ethnic minorities in the labour market, including incentives to the private sector to expand the proportion of the workforce made up of ethnic minorities.

155. While noting the State party's recent initiative to increase its budgetary allocation for the expansion of its vaccination programme, the Committee remains concerned that the overall allocation to health has systematically decreased within recent years.

The Committee notes with appreciation the State party's recent efforts to revise existing legislation that discriminates against women and draft new laws, such as the three bills on the recognition of consensual unions, domestic workers' labour conditions and filiation and responsible parenthood, which are pending in Parliament.
