The statement of defence should, as far as possible, be accompanied by all documents or other evidence relied upon by the respondent, or contain references to them.
وينبغي أن يكون بيان الدفاع مصحوبا، قدر الإمكان، بجميع الوثائق أو غيرها من الأدلة التي استند إليها المدعى عليه، أو يحتوي على إشارات إليها.

The Draft states in article 23 (2) that this plea shall be raised no later than in the statement of defence.
ويقضي مشروع الصيغة المنقّحة في الفقرة 2 من المادة 23 بأن يُقدَّم هذا الدفع في موعد أقصاه وقتُ تضمينه في بيان الدفاع.

1. The respondent shall communicate its statement of defence in writing to the claimant and to each of the arbitrators within a period of time to be determined by the arbitral tribunal.
