Takes note of the Dushanbe communiqué, issued at the eleventh meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization, held on 4 May 2001, in which the States members reiterated their common aspirations and resolve for a prosperous region of the Economic Cooperation Organization;
2 - تحيط علما أيضا ببلاغ دوشانبيه الصادر عن الاجتماع الحادي عشر لوزراء خارجية الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي المعقود في 4 أيار/مايو 2001، الذي أكدت فيه الدول الأعضاء من جديد تطلعاتها المشتركة وتصميمها على نشر الرخاء في منطقة منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي؛

16. Also notes with satisfaction the efforts of the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the field of science and technology for the development of the region and endeavours in this regard, including the establishment of the Science Foundation of the Economic Cooperation Organization;
16 - تلاحظ مع الارتياح أيضا الجهود التي تبذلها الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي في مجال العلم والتكنولوجيا من أجل تطوير المنطقة، والمساعي المبذولة في هذا الشأن، بما في ذلك إنشاء المؤسسة العلمية التابعة لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي؛

12. Also welcomes the efforts of the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization to launch an international passenger train and container train on the route connecting Almaty, Tashkent, Tehran and Istanbul on the Trans-Asian Railway main line, which will contribute significantly to the restoration of some arteries of the Great Silk Route;

15. Also notes with satisfaction the efforts of the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the field of science and technology for the development of the region, including the establishment of the Science Foundation of the Economic Cooperation Organization;

6. Welcomes the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Economic Cooperation Organization, and recommends continuation of their joint programmes to strengthen the institutional infrastructure to overcome the technical barriers to trade and promote sanitary and phytosanitary measures to be taken by the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization;
6 - ترحب بتعزيز التعاون بين منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية ومنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي، وتوصي بمواصلة برامجهما المشتركة لتعزيز الهياكل الأساسية المؤسسية للتغلب على الحواجز التقنية للتجارة وتعزيز تدابير الصحة العامة والصحة النباتية المطلوب من الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي اتخاذها؛

6. Invites the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the World Trade Organization and the International Trade Centre to develop strategies for States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization in their trade liberalization processes that could lead to the regional and global integration of their economies;
6 - تدعو مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية ومنظمة التجارة العالمية ومركز التجارة الدولية إلى وضع استراتيجيات لتحرير التجارة يمكن أن تؤدي إلى دمج اقتصادات الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي إقليميا وعالميا؛

4. Expressed their satisfaction with the successful holding of the Fourth ECO Ministerial Meeting on Commerce and Foreign Trade, held in Kabul in 2011, and invited the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization to take all necessary measures to implement the decisions of the Ministerial Meeting;
4 - يعربون عن ارتياحهم لنجاح الاجتماع الوزاري الرابع لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي بشأن التجارة والتبادل التجاري الخارجي المعقود في كابل في عام 2011، ويدعون الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي إلى اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لتنفيذ القرارات الصادرة عن الاجتماع الوزاري؛

11. Expressed their satisfaction about the successful holding of the Eighth ECO Ministerial Meeting on Transport and Communications, held in Ashgabat in June 2011, and urged the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization to take all necessary measures to implement the decisions of the Ministerial Meeting;
11 - يعربون عن ارتياحهم لانعقاد الاجتماع الوزاري الثامن لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي بشأن النقل والاتصالات بنجاح في عشق أباد في حزيران/يونيه 2011، ويحثون الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لتنفيذ القرارات الصادرة عن الاجتماع الوزاري؛

12. Welcomes the holding in Tehran in June 2001 of a joint Economic Cooperation Organization and United Nations Industrial Development Organization training course on technology management and technology transfer negotiations, which will enhance cooperation among the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization in industry, particularly in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises;
12 - ترحب بانعقاد دورة تدريبية مشتركة بين منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية في طهران، في حزيران/يونيه 2001، عن مفاوضات إدارة التكنولوجيا ونقلها ستسفر عن تعزيز التعاون بين الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي في مجال الصناعة، ولا سيما تطوير المؤسسات الصغيرة الحجم والمتوسطة الحجم؛

(d) Representatives of States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization, including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkey, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, attended a subregional ministerial seminar in Tehran, from 3 to 4 October 2001.
(د) حضر ممثلو الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي وهي أذربيجان وأفغانستان وأوزبكستان وايران (جمهورية-الاسلامية) وباكستان وتركيا وطاجيكستان وقيرغيزستان وكازاخستان، حلقة دراسية وزارية دون اقليمية عقدت فـي طهران يومي 3 و4 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2001.

18. Invites the United Nations system, its relevant bodies and the international community to continue to provide technical assistance, as appropriate, to the States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization and its secretariat in strengthening their early warning systems, preparedness, capacity for timely response and rehabilitation, with a view to reducing human casualties and mitigating the socio-economic impact of natural disasters;
18 - تدعو منظومة الأمم المتحدة وهيئاتها المختصة والمجتمع الدولي إلى مواصلة تقديم المساعدة التقنية، حسب الاقتضاء، إلى الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي ولأمانتها من أجل تعزيز نظامها للإنذار المبكر، وقدرتها على التأهب والاستجابة في الوقت المناسب، وفي عمليات التعمير التي تقوم بها، بغية الحد من وقوع خسائر بشرية وتخفيف حدة الأثر الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للكوارث الطبيعية؛

6. Welcomes the signing by most States members of the Economic Cooperation Organization of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Asian Highway Network, which has been launched under the auspices of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and calls upon the member States concerned to contribute to the operationalization of the project by identifying their priority investment projects;
6 - ترحب بتوقيع معظم الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي على الاتفاق الحكومي الدولي المتعلق بشبكة الطرق الرئيسية الآسيوية، الذي وضع برعاية اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ، وتهيب بالدول الأعضاء المعنية أن تساهم في وضع المشروع موضع التنفيذ بتحديد مشاريع الاستثمار ذات الأولوية بالنسبة إليها؛
