وتتعلق الفقرة اﻷولى بإدانة اﻷعمال العسكرية الفردية التي تستهدف سيادة واستقلال الدول اﻷعضاء في حركة عدم الانحياز وسلامتها اﻹقليمية.

I should like to bring to your attention the fact that the points which appear in the working paper are the result of intensive meetings held by the Group of Arab States and represent the position of both States members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries and Arab Ministers for Foreign Affairs.
واسترعي انتباهكم إلى أن النقاط الواردة في ورقة العمل جاءت حصيلة اجتماعات مكثفة للمجموعة العربية وأنها تنبع من مواقف الدول اﻷعضاء في حركة عدم الانحياز باﻹضافة إلى توجهات وزراء الخارجية العرب.

His delegation encouraged all States members of the Movement to adhere to those principles when casting their votes on the country-specific draft resolutions.
وقال إن وفده يشجع الدول الأعضاء في الحركة على الالتزام بهذه المبادئ عند الإدلاء بصوتها حول مشاريع القرارات الخاصة ببلدان محددة.

Based on those issues, States members of the Movement would vote against the resolution.

57. Belarus had recently been elected as a full member of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries. Membership would allow it to considerably expand its trade and economic interaction with States members of the Movement.

I should clearly indicate to the Council that the States members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries are strongly opposed and will not support any proposal that would place Sarajevo under the administrative control of the United Nations. Such an action will deprive the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina of its right to exercise its sovereignty over its capital.
وينبغي لي أن أبين للمجلس بوضوح أن الدول اﻷعضاء في حركة بلدان عدم الانحياز تعارض بقوة أي اقتراح يكون من شأنه وضع سراييفو تحت السيطرة الادارية لﻷمم المتحدة وأنها لن تؤيد أي اقتراح من هذا القبيل فمثل هذا الاجراء سوف يحرم جمهورية البوسنة والهرسك من حقها في ممارسة سيادتها على عاصمتها.

He referred to the South-South Conference on Trade, Finance and Investment, held at San José, Costa Rica, from 13 to 15 January 1997, and the conference of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the States members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, held in New Delhi in April 1997, which identified practical initiatives to advance such cooperation.

In this context, we welcome the adoption of General Assembly resolution 49/75 K, sponsored by the States members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, on the request to the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on whether the use of nuclear weapons by a State in war or other armed conflict would be a breach of its obligations under international law.
وإننا لنرحب في هذا السياق باتخاذ قرار الجمعية العامة ٩٤/٥٧ كاف الذي قدمته الدول اﻷعضاء في حركة بلدان عدم الانحياز، والمتعلق بطلب الفتوى من محكمة العدل الدولية بشأن ما إن كان استخدام اﻷسلحة النووية من قبل أي دولة في الحرب أو في صراع مسلح آخر يعد خرقا لالتزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي.

At their Sixteenth Conference of Heads of State or Government, the States members of the Movement had reaffirmed the need to promote and protect all human rights and fundamental freedoms, in particular the right to development, through constructive international dialogue and cooperation, capacity-building and technical assistance.
67 - واسترسلت قائلة إن الدول الأعضاء في الحركة أكدت من جديد في مؤتمرها السادس عشر لرؤساء الدول أو الحكومات على ضرورة تعزيز جميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية وحمايتها، لا سيما الحق في التنمية، من خلال الحوار والتعاون الدوليين البناءين وبناء القدرات والمساعدات التقنية.

96. The draft resolution was a genuine attempt to fulfil the aspirations of all the peoples of the States members of the Movement for development and prosperity, and the Movement appreciated the constructive engagement of the majority of delegations, including the European Union, during the negotiation process.
٩٦ - وأشارت إلى أن مشروع القرار يشكل محاولة صادقة لتحقيق تطلعات جميع شعوب الدول الأعضاء في الحركة من أجل التنمية والازدهار، وتعرب الحركة عن تقديرها للمشاركة البناءة لأغلبية الوفود، بما في ذلك الاتحاد الأوروبي، أثناء عملية التفاوض.
