In order to remedy double discrimination affecting women, the General Assembly urged States to mainstream a gender perspective in the design and development of prevention, education and protection measures aimed at the eradication of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance at all levels, to ensure that they effectively targeted the distinct situations of women and men.
3 - ومن أجل تدارك التمييز المضاعف الذي تقع المرأة ضحية له، حثت الجمعية العامة بالخصوص الدول على تعميم منظور نوع الجنس في وضع وتطوير تدابير للمنع والتثقيف والحماية تهدف إلى القضاء على العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب على جميع المستويات، بغية تكييفها مع أوضاع المرأة وأوضاع الرجل.
