In view of the Centre's precarious financial situation, the draft resolution appeals to States, international governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and foundations to make voluntary contributions to strengthen the programmes and activities of the Regional Centre.
وفي ضوء الوضع المالي الخطير للمركز يناشد مشروع القرار الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والمؤسسات تقديم تبرعاتها بغية تدعيم البرامج والأنشطة التي يضطلع بها المركز الإقليمي.

3. Appeals once again to all States, as well as to international governmental and non-governmental organizations and the foundations, to make voluntary contributions in order to strengthen the programmes and activities of the Regional Centre and facilitate their implementation;
3 - تناشد مرة أخرى جميع الدول، وكذلك المنظمات والمؤسسات الدولية الحكومية وغير الحكومية، تقديم التبرعات بغية تدعيم البرامج والأنشطة التي يضطلع بها المركز الإقليمي وتيسير تنفيذها؛

" (h) Encourages Member States to consider voluntarily renouncing their shares of the unutilized balances of appropriations in order to strengthen the programmes of UNIDO and/or to fund the retention of the aforementioned office space;
" (ح) يشجِّع الدول الأعضاء على النظر في التنازل طواعيةً عن حصصها في أرصدة الاعتمادات غير المنفَقة من أجل تدعيم برامج اليونيدو و/أو على تمويل تكاليف الاحتفاظ بحيِّز المكاتب المذكور آنفاً؛

(b) Encourages Member States to consider voluntarily renouncing their shares of the unutilized balances of appropriations to strengthen the programmes and operations of UNIDO;
(ب) يشجِّع الدول الأعضاء على النظر في التنازل طواعيةً عن حصصها في أرصدة الاعتمادات غير المنفَقة من أجل تدعيم برامج اليونيدو وعملياتها؛

The past year witnessed the successful implementation of many of the measures proposed for repositioning ECA. Among them were measures taken to strengthen the programmes, and improve management and administrative processes.
وقد شهد العام الماضي تنفيذ العديد من التدابير التي اُقترحت لتصحيح مسار اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا، ومن ضمنها التدابير الرامية إلى تعزيز البرامج وتحسين عمليات الإدارة والتسيير.

6. Urges all States, as well as international governmental and nongovernmental organizations and foundations, to make voluntary contributions in order to strengthen the programmes and activities of the Regional Centre and facilitate their implementation;
6 - تحث جميع الدول، وكذلك المنظمات والمؤسسات الدولية، الحكومية منها وغير الحكومية، على تقديم تبرعات بغية تعزيز البرامج والأنشطة التي يضطلع بها المركز الإقليمي وتيسير تنفيذها؛

To that effect, the government will draw up a code on children, strengthen the programmes aimed at protecting them from the violence and abuse they suffer, and improve the existing structures providing care, training and assistance for disabled citizens.
ولهذا الغرض، ستعكف الحكومة على وضع قانون للطفولة، وعلى تعزيز برامج حماية الأطفال ضد أعمال العنف والتجاوزات التي يتعرضون لها، وتحسين نظم استقبال المواطنين المعوقين وتأهيلهم وتقديم المساعدات اليهم.

The draft resolution appeals to all States, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and foundations to make voluntary contributions in order to strengthen the programmes and activities of the Regional Centre and facilitate their implementation.
ويناشد مشروع القرار جميع الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية وغير الحكومية والمؤسسات أن تقدم مساهمات طوعية بغية تعزيز برامج وأنشطة المركز الإقليمي وتيسير تنفيذها.

7. Further requests the Secretary-General to make concrete proposals to strengthen the programmes and activities of the Institute and to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-third session on the implementation of the present resolution.
٧ - تطلب كذلك إلى اﻷمين العام تقديم مقترحات ملموسة بشأن تعزيز برامج المعهد وأنشطته وتقديم تقرير إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين عن تنفيذ هذا القرار.

4. Appeals once again to Member States, as well as to international governmental and non-governmental organizations and foundations, to make voluntary contributions in order to strengthen the programmes of activities of the regional centres and their effective implementation;
٤ - تناشد مرة أخرى الدول اﻷعضاء، فضلا عن المنظمات والمؤسسات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية، أن تقدم تبرعات من أجل تعزيز برامج أنشطة المراكز الاقليمية وتنفيذها بصورة فعالة؛

My delegation makes these proposals because we should like our current debate to lead to conclusions that would enable the Secretary-General to propose a set of measures to strengthen the programmes, administrative structure and budget that support the United Nations work for enhanced development in Africa.
إن وفدي يقدم هذه الاقتراحات لأننا نود أن تقود مناقشتنا الحالية إلى استنتاجات من شأنها أن تمكن الأمين العام من اقتراح مجموعة من التدابير الرامية إلى تعزيز البرامج والهيكل الإداري والميزانية التي تدعم أعمال الأمم المتحدة لتعزيز التنمية في أفريقيا.
