(b) To strengthen the capacity of Governments to reform their legislation and criminal justice systems and to establish or strengthen their institutions and mechanisms for the detection, investigation, prosecution and adjudication of various types of crime.
)ب( تعزيز قدرة الحكومات على إصلاح تشريعاتها ونظم العدالة الجنائية فيها، وعلى إقامة أو تعزيز مؤسساتها وآلياتها الخاصة بكشف مختلف أنواع الجرائم والتحقيق فيها وملاحقتها قضائيا والفصل فيها.

1. In paragraph 12.3 (b), the objective should be stated as " to support the strengthening of " , rather than " to strengthen " the capacity of Governments to reform or revise their legislation and criminal justice systems and to establish or strengthen their institutions and mechanisms for the detection, investigation, prosecution and adjudication of various types of crime.

They must focus on their capacity to strengthen their institutions and infrastructures; stimulate the world economy; stabilizing the financial markets; increase the flows of official development assistance; alleviate the debt burden of the poorest countries and the private sector; improve market access by doing away with whatever obstacles exist; and enhance support for social safety nets.

30. With regard to the theme of human rights, in paragraph 74 of its report on the sixth session, the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues expressed concern at the situation of human rights of indigenous peoples in various parts of the world, and called upon States to recognize the rights of indigenous peoples constitutionally and legally, to strengthen their institutions and to promote and protect those rights.
