The present report, prepared in response to that decision, provides an update to the report of the Secretary-General submitted to the Commission at its last session.

2. The attention of the Sub-Commission is drawn to the report of the workshop, which was submitted to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session as document E/CN.4/2001/62/Add.2.
