Decisions of the Supreme Council on substantive matters shall be taken by a majority of five of its members, provided that such majority includes the votes of the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
كما نصت المادة 49 من الدستور على أن: " تصدر قرارات المجلس الأعلى في المسائل الموضوعية بأغلبية خمسة أعضاء من أعضائه على أن تشمل هذه الأغلبية صوتي إمارتي أبو ظبي ودبي.

If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than the number of persons to be elected, there shall be additional ballots to fill the remaining places.
وإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من عدد الأشخاص المراد انتخابهم، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية.

If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than the number of persons or members to be elected, there shall be additional ballots to fill the remaining places.
فإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من عدد الأشخاص أو الأعضاء اللازم انتخابهم، تجري اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية.

If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than six, there shall be additional ballots, restricted to the candidates who obtained the largest number of votes in the previous ballot, with the number of candidates limited to not more than twice the places remaining to be filled.
وإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من ستة، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية تخص فقط المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق، على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المقاعد المتبقية.

3. If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than the number of places to be filled, additional ballots shall be held to fill the remaining places.
3- إذا كان عدد المرشَّحين الذين حصلوا على تلك الأغلبية يقلّ عن عدد المناصب المراد شغلها، تُجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقِّية.

Article 4, paragraph 4, of the Statute further stipulates that the persons elected to the Tribunal shall be those nominees who obtain the largest number of votes and a two-thirds majority of the States Parties present and voting, provided that such majority includes a majority of the States Parties.
وتنص الفقرة 4 من المادة 4 من النظام الأساسي أيضا على أن يكون الأشخاص المنتخبون لعضوية المحكمة هم المرشحون الذين يحصلون على أكبر عدد من الأصوات وعلى أغلبية ثلثي أصوات الدول الأطراف الحاضرة والمصوتة، على أن تضم هذه الأغلبية أغلبية الدول الأطراف.

4. If by the end of the period of deferment the Conference has not reached agreement, voting shall take place and decisions shall be taken by a twothirds majority of the representatives present and voting, providing that such majority shall include at least a majority of the States participating in the Conference.
4- إذا لم يصل المؤتمر إلى اتفاق حتى نهاية فترة الإرجاء، يجري التصويت وتتخذ القرارات بأغلبية ثلثي الممثلين الحاضرين والمصوتين، شريطة أن تضم هذه الأغلبية على الأقل أغلبية الدول المشتركة في المؤتمر.
