It follows that the State party violated article 7 of the Covenant as a result of the treatment suffered by the author at Bromma airport.

Although the State party had taken the necessary measures to put an end to this discrimination suffered by the author, the Committee was of the view that the State party should offer Mrs. Zwaan-de Vries an appropriate remedy.

In the absence of any explanation from the State party as to the nature of the investigation allegedly carried out by its authorities, and in light of the harassment suffered by the author as a result of his inquiries on the fate and whereabouts of his father, he contests that the alleged investigation indeed took place and fulfils the requirements under international law.
وفي غياب أية تفسير من الدولة الطرف بشأن طابع التحقيق الذي يُزعم أن سلطاتها قد أجرته، وفي ضوء المضايقات التي تعرض لها صاحب البلاغ نتيجة استفساراته عن مصير والده ومكان وجوده، فإنه يشكك في أن التحقيق المزعوم قد أُجري بالفعل واستوفى الشروط المطلوبة بمقتضى القانون الدولي.

Based on a reading of these provisions, the author concludes that any complaint regarding the violations suffered by the author, her husband and her son would be not only declared inadmissible, but also treated as a criminal offence.
وتستنتج صاحبة البلاغ عقب قراءة هذه الأحكام أن أي شكوى تتعلق بانتهاكات كالتي تعرضت لها صاحبة البلاغ وزوجها وابنها سوف لن يتقرر عدم قبولها فحسب، بل إن أصحابها سوف يعاقبون عليها جنائياً أيضاً.

5.3 The State party concludes that the delays suffered by the author in the determination of his case are inevitable because of the situation explained above.
٥-٣ وانتهت الدولــة الطرف إلى أن التأخيرات التي عانى منها صاحب البلاغ في الفصل في قضيته لا يمكن تفاديها بسبب الوضـع المشـروح أعــلاه.

Remedy: Provide the author and his family with an effective remedy, by ensuring a thorough and diligent investigation into the torture and ill-treatment suffered by the author, the prosecution and punishment of those responsible, and providing the author and his family with adequate compensation for the violations suffered.
إجراء الانتصاف: توفير سبيل انتصاف فعال لصاحب البلاغ وأسرته من خلال ضمان إجراء تحقيق شامل ودقيق فيما تعرض له صاحب البلاغ من تعذيب ومعاملة سيئة، ومحاكمة المسؤولين ومعاقبتهم، ومنح صاحب البلاغ وأسرته تعويضاً مناسباً عن الانتهاكات التي تعرضوا لها.

11.6 On the issue of the treatment by the author at Bromma airport, the Committee must first assess whether the treatment suffered by the author at the hands of foreign agents is properly imputable to the State party under the terms of the Covenant and under applicable rules of State responsibility.

4.5 As for the author's claim under article 26, the State party interprets it as a claim based on the assumption that the " expropriation " suffered by the author's family amounted to discrimination on the grounds of political and social origin.
4-5 أما عن ادعاء صاحب البلاغ بموجب المادة 26، فإنه في تفسير الدولة الطرف ادعاء يستند إلى افتراض أن " نزع الملكية " الذي تعرضت له أسرته يعتبر تمييزاً بسبب الرأي السياسي والخلفية الاجتماعية.
