الإجراءات الموصى باتخاذها: مع الإحاطة علماً بحُسن تعاون الدولة الطرف، ينبغي إرسال رسالة يُشار فيها إلى أن الإجراء يُعتبر منتهياً بالنسبة للمسائل التي اعتُبرت ردود الدولة الطرف بشأنها مُرضية على العموم.

The Committee observes that, according to the author, these events gave rise to an investigation, as a result of which the inmates responsible had been tried and convicted. The Committee further takes note of the information supplied by the State regarding the steps taken to ensure prison safety.
وتلاحظ اللجنة أن هذه الأحداث كما أشار صاحب البلاغ، أدّت إلى تحقيق أسفر عن محاكمة المسجونيْن المسؤولين عن الاعتداء وإدانتهم.كما تحيط اللجنة علماً بالمعلومات المقدمة من الدولة فيما يتعلق بالخطوات التي اتبعتها لضمان أمنه في السجن.

3- إذا ما انتهت اللجنة، على أساس دراستها للتقارير والمعلومات المقدمة من الدولة الطرف، إلى أن بعضاً من التزامات هذه الدولة بموجب الاتفاقية لم يوف بها، يجوز لها أن تقدم اقتراحات وتوصيات عامة وفقا للفقرة 2 من المادة 9 من الاتفاقية.

17. 17- مع أن اللجنة تلاحظ المعلومات التي قدّمتها الدولة الطرف والتي تفيد بأن المادة 13 من قانون حماية الطفل يجرّم تعريض أي طفل للأذى، فإن القلق يساور اللجنة لأن العقوبة البدنية ليست محظورة تماماً في تشريعات الدولة الطرف، بما في ذلك في المؤسسات العقابية وفي أوساط الرعاية البديلة.
