ولكفالة تنفيذ الاتفاقات، أحال المجلس الوطني اﻷعلى لكمبوديا " جميع السلطات اللازمة " الى اﻷمم المتحدة لفترة انتقالية تبدأ عند توقيع الاتفاقات وتتواصل حتى انشاء حكومة جديدة بعد الانتخابات.

The two sides praised the role of His Royal Highness Samdech Presh Norodom Sihanouk, Head of State and President of the Supreme National Council of Cambodia, in unifying the Cambodian people and in bringing about genuine national reconciliation as well as peace and progress in Cambodia.
٥ - وامتدح الجانبان الدور الذي يقوم به صاحب السمو الملكي اﻷمير نورودوم سيهانوك، رئيس الدولة ورئيس المجلس الوطني اﻷعلى لكمبوديا من أجل توحيد الشعب الكمبودي وتحقيق مصالحة وطنية حقيقية فضلا عن تحقيق السلم والتقدم في كمبوديا.

Calls upon the Supreme National Council of Cambodia, and the Cambodian parties for their part, to cooperate fully with the United Nations Advance Mission in Cambodia and with the preparations for the implementation of the arrangements set out in the agreements for a comprehensive political settlement;
" ٣ - يطلب إلى المجلس الوطني اﻷعلى لكمبوديا وإلى اﻷطراف الكمبودية أن يتعاونوا تعاونا تاما مع بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة المتقدمة في كمبوديا ومع اﻷعمال التحضيرية المضطلع بها بغية اتخاذ الترتيبات المحددة في الاتفاقات المتعلقة بإيجاد تسوية سياسية شاملة؛
