sustainable cocoa economy is a system in which all stakeholders maintain productivity at levels that are economically viable, ecologically sound and culturally acceptable through the efficient management of resources;

(e) To promote a sustainable cocoa economy in economic, social and environmental terms;
(ﻫ) تشجيع قيام اقتصاد كاكاو مستدام من النواحي الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية؛

1. Members recognize that the use of substitutes may have negative effects on the expansion of cocoa consumption and the development of a sustainable cocoa economy.
1- يسلّم الأعضاء بأن استخدام البدائل قد ينطوي على آثار سلبية على التوسع في استهلاك الكاكاو وعلى تنمية اقتصاد كاكاو مستدام.

6. The Organization shall actively seek the assistance and support of multilateral and bilateral donors for the execution of programmes, projects and activities aimed at achieving a sustainable cocoa economy.
6- تلتمس المنظمة بنشاط مساعدة الجهات المانحة المتعددة الأطراف والثنائية ودعمها من أجل تنفيذ البرامج والمشاريع والأنشطة الرامية إلى تحقيق اقتصاد كاكاو مستدام.

2. The Organization shall, upon request, assist Members to fulfil their goals in the development of a sustainable cocoa economy in accordance with article 1, paragraph (e) and article 2, paragraph 14.
