8. By decision 12/COP.2, the Conference of the Parties requested the secretariat to facilitate the convening of at least one inter-sessional meeting of the Bureau of the CST in order to review decisions taken by the Conference of the Parties and other related matters regarding its work, especially the planning and organization of the next session of the CST.
8- طلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأمانة في المقرر 12/م أ-2 أن تيسر عقد اجتماع واحد على الأقل لمكتب لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا في فترة ما بين الدورات لاستعراض المقررات التي يتخذها مؤتمر الأطراف وغير ذلك من المسائل ذات الصلة بعمل اللجنة، وبالأخص تخطيط وتنظيم دورتها التالية.

1. Requests the secretariat to facilitate the convening of at least one intersessional meeting of the CST Bureau per year for the review of decisions taken by the Conference of the Parties (COP) and other related matters regarding the work of the CST, especially the planning and organization of the next session of the CST;
1- يطلب من الأمانة أن تيسّر عقد ما لا يقل عن اجتماع في السنة لمكتب لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا في فترة ما بين الدورات لاستعراض المقررات التي يتخذها مؤتمر الأطراف وغير ذلك من المسائل ذات الصلة المتعلقة بأعمال اللجنة، ولا سيما التخطيط للدورة المقبلة للجنة وتنظيمها؛

The Chair noted that the final decision on this would be taken by the Conference of the Parties.
وأشار الرئيس إلى أن القرار النهائي في هذا الأمر يتخذه مؤتمر الأطراف.
