42 - يحيط علماً بالإجراءات التي اتخذتها المجالس التنفيذية لصناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها ووكالاتها المتخصصة ومجالس إدارتها في مجال تبسيط ومواءمة منظومة الأمم المتحدة بهدف تخفيض تكاليف المعاملات وتعزيز الكفاءة وتحقيق وفورات مالية ليعاد استثمارها في البلدان المستفيدة من البرامج؛

Welcomes with appreciation the decisions taken by the executive boards of various United Nations system organizations to mainstream the relevant provisions of the Istanbul Programme of Action into the work of the Secretariat and its intergovernmental machinery, and in this regard invites the governing bodies of all other United Nations funds and programmes and multilateral organizations to do the same in an expeditious manner;
