4. During a period of deferred compliance pursuant to paragraph 3 of this Article, a High Contracting Party shall not use cluster munitions, other than those described in Technical Annex B, except:

6. It is prohibited to use munitions described in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Technical Annex B other than for the purpose for which each was exclusively designed.

(b) improve to the extent possible the accuracy of their cluster munitions and submunitions described in Technical Annex B;
(ب) يُحسِّن إلى أقصى حد ممكن من دقة ذخائره العنقودية وذخائره الفرعية المبينة في المرفق التقني `باء`؛

5. It is prohibited to use munitions described in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Technical Annex B other than for the purpose for which they were exclusively designed.

2. It is prohibited for a High Contracting Party to produce or develop cluster munitions other than those described in Technical Annex B.

6. It is prohibited for a High Contracting Party to transfer cluster munitions other than those described in Technical Annex B.
6- يُحظر على الطرف المتعاقد السامي نقل الذخائر العنقودية غير تلك الموصوفة في المرفق التقني باء.

(e) cluster munitions that do not meet the standards described in Technical Annex B retained in accordance with paragraph 11 of article 4;
(ه( الذخائر العنقودية التي لا تستوفي المعايير الموصوفة في المرفق التقني باء والتي تحتفظ بها وفقا للفقرة 11 من المادة 4؛

1. Cluster munitions other that those described in Technical Annex B and produced before 1980;

A recommendation that hand emplaced mines have SD/SN/SDA features is included as a best practice in Technical Annex B. However, this practice would not be legally binding.
وترد في المرفق التقني باء توصية بشأن تجهيز الألغام المزروعة يدوياً بآلية تدمير ذاتي أو بآلية إبطال ذاتي وبجهاز احتياطي للتعطيل كممارسة من أفضل الممارسات. لكن هذه الممارسة غير ملزمة قانونياً.

3. When implementing the recommendations of this chapter the States shall take all measures stipulated in Technical Annex A and should follow the best practices stipulated in Technical Annex B.
3- تتخذ الدول، لدى تنفيذ التوصيات الواردة في هذا الفصل، كل التدابير المنصوص عليها في المرفق التقني ألف، وتتبع أفضل الممارسات المنصوص عليها في المرفق التقني باء.

The States should, to the extent feasible, follow the best practices on fuse design stipulated in paragraph 5 of Technical Annex B. [alternative approach:
1- ينبغي للدول أن تتبع، قدر المستطاع عملياً، أفضل الممارسات بشأن تصميم الصمامات على النحو المنصوص عليه في الفقرة 5 من المرفق التقني باء.

Technical Annex B
المرفق التقني باء

1. The States should, to the extent feasible, follow the guidelines on fuze design stipulated in paragraph 5 of Technical Annex B.
1- ينبغي للدول اتباع المبادئ التوجيهية، قدر المستطاع عملياً، بشأن تصميم الصمامات على النحو المنصوص عليه في الفقرة 5 من المرفق التقني باء.

The States should, to the extent feasible, follow the best practices on fuze design stipulated in paragraph 5 of Technical Annex B. [alternative approach:
1- ينبغي للدول أن تتبع، قدر المستطاع عملياً، أفضل الممارسات بشأن تصميم الصمامات على النحو المنصوص عليه في الفقرة 5 من المرفق التقني باء.
