It was the tenth Workshop of this series and was held in São José dos Campos, Brazil, in conjunction with the fifty-first Congress of IAF held in Rio de Janeiro.

The conclusions of the tenth Workshop welcomed OHCHR Regional Representatives' involvement in advising Asian and Pacific Governments, at their request, on the implementation of the activities under the Framework.

8- تحيط علماً بمساهمة المؤسسات الوطنية المستقلة والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية وممثلي المنظمات غير الحكومية في حلقة العمل العاشرة، وبمبادرة مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان في سبيل عقد اجتماع تشاوري للجهات غير الحكومية قبل الافتتاح الرسمي لحلقة العمل العاشرة بيوم واحد؛

The workshop was held at the request of member States of the Asian-Pacific region which, at the conclusion of the tenth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian-Pacific Region, had called on OHCHR to continue developing and implementing training programmes on investigation techniques, among other subjects.
وقد نُظمت هذه الحلقة بطلب من الدول الأعضاء المنتمية إلى منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، التي التمست من المفوضية، في ختام حلقة العمل العاشرة بشأن التعاون الإقليمي لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، أن تواصل وضع وتنفيذ البرامج التدريبية المتعلقة بتقنيات التحقيق من ضمن مواضيع أخرى.

Michael J. Rosenthal, Minister of Justice, Palau, on the Fiji subregional workshop and Mr. Kedar Prasad Poudyal, Acting Secretary, National Human Rights Commission of Nepal, on the results of meetings of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights held since the tenth Workshop in Beirut.
روزنتال، وزير العدل في بالاو، تقريراً عن حلقة العمل دون الإقليمية المعقودة في فيجي، وقدّم السيد كيدار براساد بوديال، أمين اللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان في نيبال بالإنابة، تقريراً عن نتائج اجتماعات المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها التي عُقدت منذ حلقة العمل العاشرة المعقودة في بيروت.

The tenth Workshop took place in March this year in Beirut. At the workshop Governments adopted a plan of action to be implemented over the next two years.
وقد نُظمت حلقة العمل العاشرة في آذار/مارس من العام الحالي في بيروت حيث اعتمدت الحكومات خطة عمل تُنفذ على مدار العامين القادمين.

Welcoming the convening of the tenth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the AsianPacific Region, held in Beirut from 4 to 6 March 2002,
وإذ ترحب بانعقاد حلقة العمل العاشرة المتعلقة بالتعاون الإقليمي من أجل تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، التي عُقدت في بيروت في الفترة من 4 إلى 6 آذار/مارس 2002،

5. Endorses the conclusions of the tenth Workshop on the next steps to be taken to facilitate the process of regional cooperation in the Asian and Pacific region;
5- تؤيد استنتاجات حلقة العمل العاشرة المتعلقة بالخطوات التالية الواجب اتخاذها لتسهيل عملية التعاون الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

7. Also welcomes the greater and valuable sharing of concrete national experiences at the tenth Workshop on the implementation of all four areas of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation Programme in the Asian and Pacific Region;
7- ترحب أيضاً بما جرى في حلقة العمل العاشرة من زيادة في التبادل القيِّم للخبرات الوطنية المحددة بشأن تطبيق المجالات الأربعة جميعها لإطار برنامج التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

OHCHR participated, and supported the involvement of national institutions, in the tenth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asia-Pacific Region held in Beirut on 4-6 March 2002.
23- شاركت المفوضية في حلقة العمل العاشرة بشأن التعاون الإقليمي لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ المعقودة في بيروت في الفترة 4-6 آذار/مارس 2002، ودعمت مشاركة المؤسسات الوطنية فيها.

The tenth Workshop on Outer Space and its Peaceful Uses was held in Havana on 7 and 8 October as one of the activities to celebrate World Space Week.
عُقدت في هافانا يومي 7 و8تشرين الأول/أكتوبر حلقة العمل العاشرة بشأن الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في الأغراض السلمية، باعتبارها أحد أنشطة الاحتفال بأسبوع الفضاء العالمي.
