It urged States that are parties to an armed conflict to take all necessary measures, in a timely manner, to determine the identity, fate and whereabouts of women and children taken hostage and to provide safe, unimpeded access to humanitarian assistance for those women and children, in accordance with international humanitarian law.

10. Urges States that are parties to an armed conflict to cooperate, consistent with their international obligations, in order to effectively solve cases of missing persons, including by providing mutual assistance in terms of information-sharing, victim assistance, location and identification of missing persons and recovery, identification and return of human remains and by identifying, mapping and preserving burial sites;
10 - تحث الدول الأطراف في النزاعات المسلحة على التعاون، وفقاً لالتزاماتها الدولية، من أجل تسوية حالات الأشخاص المفقودين بفعالية، بوسائل منها تبادل المساعدة في ما يتعلق بتبادل المعلومات ومساعدة الضحايا وتحديد أماكن الأشخاص المفقودين وتحديد هوياتهم واستعادة رفات الموتى وتحديد هويات أصحابها وإعادتها، وتحديد مواقع الدفن ورسم خرائط لها والمحافظة عليها؛
