The Committee noted that the Division for Palestinian Rights, in cooperation with relevant technical services of the Secretariat, had made substantial progress in the development of the United Nations Information System on the Question of Palestine (UNISPAL), as mandated by the General Assembly at the Committee's request.
١٠١ - لاحظت اللجنة أن شعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين أحرزت، بالتعاون مع الدوائر التقنية ذات الصلة في اﻷمانة العامة، تقدما ذا شأن في إنشاء نظام اﻷمم المتحدة للمعلومات المتعلقة بقضية فلسطين، وفقا للولاية الصادرة عن الجمعية العامة بناء على طلب اللجنة.

Mr. Rowe (Sierra Leone), referring to the draft resolution on the Division for Palestinian Rights of the Secretariat, said that operative paragraph 2 should be strengthened by specifying what contribution was expected of the Division. The present text read: " Considers that the Division for Palestinian Rights of the Secretariat continues to make a useful and constructive contribution " .
