37 - ويبدو حجم مشروع الاستيطان الإسرائيلي وكثافة حجم الاستثمارات المالية الموظّفة على صعيده، وكأنهما يؤكدان عزم إسرائيل على الاحتفاظ بالسيطرة على تلك المناطق ومن ثم فهي تنتهك مبدءاً أساسياً من مبادئ ميثاق الأمم المتحدة التي تحظر حيازة الأراضي سواء باستعمال القوة أو التهديد باستعمالها (انظر A/67/379، الفقرة 12).
