8. Requests the Territories and the administering Powers to take all necessary measures to protect and conserve the environment of the Territories under their administration against any environmental degradation, and once again requests the specialized agencies concerned to continue to monitor environmental conditions in those Territories;
8 - تطلب إلى الأقاليم وإلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لحماية البيئة في الأقاليم الخاضعة لإدارة تلك الدول وحفظهـا من جميع أشكال التدهور، وتطلب مرة أخرى إلى الوكالات المتخصصة المعنية مواصلة رصد الأحوال البيئية في تلك الأقاليم؛

In addition, the Committee recommends that the Assembly should renew its appeal to the administering Powers to take all necessary steps for the implementation of the Declaration and the relevant United Nations resolutions, in accordance with the freely expressed wishes of the peoples of the Territories concerned.

His delegation supported the recommendations of the Special Committee, including the call on the administering Powers to take all necessary steps for full and effective implementation of the Declaration on decolonization, and the relevant United Nations resolutions.
وأعرب عن تأييد وفده لتوصيات اللجنة الخاصة بما فيها مطالبة الدول القائمة بالإدارة باتخاذ جميع الخطوات اللازمة للتنفيذ الكامل والفعال لإعلان إنهاء الاستعمار وقرارات للأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة.
