The General Assembly, in its resolution 64/89, requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the strengthening of the management capacity of the Agency to the relevant bodies of the General Assembly at the earliest possible date and requested him to support the institutional strengthening of the Agency through the provision of sufficient financial resources from the United Nations regular budget.
وقد طلبت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 64/89 إلى الأمين العام أن يقدّم تقريرا عن تعزيز القدرة الإدارية للوكالة إلى هيئات الجمعية العامة المعنيّة في أقرب وقت ممكن، وطلبت إليه أن يدعم التعزيز المؤسسي للوكالة من خلال توفير الموارد المالية الكافية من الميزانية العادية للأمم المتحدة.
