My Government strongly believes that the cessation of violations of the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus could be a significant step in the right direction.
ولدى حكومتي اعتقاد راسخ بأن وقف انتهاكات المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص يمكن أن يشكِّل خطوة هامة في الاتجاه الصحيح.

It is hoped that the Government of Turkey will show restraint and will cease the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus and contribute to the efforts to find a just and viable solution to the Cyprus problem on the basis of United Nations resolutions.
ويؤمل أن تبدي حكومة تركيا ضبطا للنفس وأن تكف عن انتهاك المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص وأن تسهم في الجهود الرامية إلى إيجاد حل عادل وناجع للمشكلة القبرصية على أساس قرارات الأمم المتحدة.

On the same day, from 1133 to 1214 hours, a formation of two Turkish Air Force fighter planes violated the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus again, entering the FIR of Nicosia without permission or prior notification.
وفي نفس اليوم ومن الساعة ١١٣٣ الى ١٢١٤، انتهك تشكيل من طائرتين مقاتلتين تابعتين لسلاح الطيران التركي المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص مرة أخرى ودخلتا اقليم استعلامات الطيران في نيقوسيا دون إذن أو إشعار مسبق.

At 1026 hours, two aircraft of the Turkish Air Force entered the flight information region (FIR) of Nicosia at point DOREN without permission and violated the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus at an altitude of under 1,000 feet, leaving at 1056.
في الساعة ١٠٢٦، دخلت طائرتان من سلاح الطيران التركي إقليم استعلامات الطيران في نيقوسيا عند نقطة دورين دون إذن وانتهكتا المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص على ارتفاع يقل عن ٠٠٠ ١ قدم وغادرتا الاقليم الساعة ١٠٥٦.

Upon instructions from my Government, I have the honour to draw your attention to new violations of the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus by Turkey's military Air Force, which were recorded as follows.
بناء على تعليمات من حكومتي، أتشرف بأن أوجه انتباهكم الى انتهاكات جديدة للمجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص من جانب القوات العسكرية الجوية التركية، سجلت على النحو التالي:

Furthermore, Turkey's systematic attempts to undermine the sovereignty and unity of the Republic of Cyprus by promoting an illegal secessionist entity, arrogating to itself, inter alia, the right to control part of the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus, further complicate the efforts to build trust and confidence between the two communities.
وعلاوة على ذلك، فإن محاولات تركيا المستمرة لتقويض سيادة جمهورية قبرص ووحدتها الوطنية، بتشجيعها كيانا انفصاليا غير قانوني، وادعائها لنفسها، في جملة أمور، الحق في السيطرة على جزء من المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص إنما تزيد من تعقيد الجهود الرامية إلى بناء الثقة والطمأنينة بين الطائفتين.

On 27 February, from 1320 hours to 1353 hours, six Turkish military planes violated the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus, flying over the areas of Kyrenia, Morfou, Nicosia and Famagusta, and then landed at the illegal airport of Tymbou.
وفي ٢٧ شباط/فبراير، ومن الساعة ٢٠/١٣ الى الساعة ٥٣/١٣ انتهكت ست طائرات عسكرية تركية المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص بالطيران فوق مناطق كيرينيا ومورفو ونيقوسيا وفاماغوستا ثم هبطت في المطار غير القانوني في تيمبو.

وتكرر الرسالة المذكورة المزاعم المعروفة تماما التي يرددها الجانب القبرصي اليوناني بشأن " انتهاكات المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص ولمنطقة معلومات الطيران التابعة لنيقوسيا " .

On 1 September 1995, a formation of two Turkish Air Force fighter aircraft entered without permission the northern FIR of Nicosia at 1057 hours and violated the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus along the northern coast in a west-east direction, leaving at 1118 hours.
في ١ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٥، قام تشكيل مكون من طائرتين مقاتلتين تابعتين للقوات الجوية التركية، بالدخول دون إذن، الى الجزء الشمالي من منطقة معلومات الطيران فوق نيقوسيا، وذلك في الساعة ٥٧/١٠، وانتهك المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص على امتداد الساحل الشمالي، متجها من الغرب الى الشرق، ثم خرج في الساعة ١٨/١١.

بنــاء علــى توجيهات مــن حكومتــي، وإلحاقــا برسالتي المؤرخة ٢١ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٨ A/52/875-S/1998/340)(، أتشرف بأن أوجه انتباهكم إلى الانتهاكات الجديدة التالية التي قامت بها طائرات حربية تابعة للقوات الجوية التركية في المجال الجوي لجمهورية قبرص ومنطقــة نيقوسيا للمعلومات عن الطيران، والتي سُجلت في ٢٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٨.

Upon instructions from my Government, I have the honour to refer to the letter dated 22 March 2006 addressed to you by the Greek Cypriot representative and circulated as a document of the General Assembly and of the Security Council (A/60/729-S/2006/177), which yet again contains allegations of violations of the " airspace of the Republic of Cyprus " and the flight information region (FIR) of Nicosia.
