21. Basically, the ideas advanced on this issue last year by the SubCommission, in the annex to its decision 2005/114, continue to be valid after the establishment of the Council and the demise of the Commission.

38. In this connection, the General Committee draws the attention of the General Assembly to the annex to its decision 55/488 of 7 September 2001, which reads as follows:
38 - وفي هذا الصدد، يوجه المكتب انتباه الجمعية العامة إلى مرفق مقررها 55/488 المؤرخ 7 أيلول/سبتمبر 2001، الذي ينص على ما يلي:

When considering the organization of its work, the SubCommission may wish to refer to the annex to its decision 1999/114 containing the guidelines for the application by the SubCommission of the rules of procedure of the functional commissions of the Economic and Social Council and other decisions and practices relating thereto.
