In paragraph 16, the Committee draws the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 21 of the annex to resolution 51/241, where the Assembly indicated a voluntary guideline of up to 20 minutes for each statement in the general debate.
وفي الفقرة ١٦، يُلفت المكتب انتباه الجمعية إلى الفقرة ٢١ من مرفق القرار ٥١/٢٤١ حيث حددت فيها الجمعية مدة كل بيان في المناقشة العامة ﺑ ٢٠ دقيقة كمعيار تلتزم به الوفود طواعية.

In this respect, I would like to draw the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 8 of the report, in which the following sentence should be inserted at the end of the paragraph:

I draw the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 16 of the draft resolution, by which the Assembly would appeal to States that can do so to make the voluntary contributions that are urgently needed for the holding of seminars in conjunction with the sessions of the International Law Commission.
واسترعي انتباه الجمعية إلى الفقرة ١٦ من مشروع القرار، التي تناشد فيها الجمعية الدول التي تستطيع أن تقدم تبرعات تمس الحاجة إليها أن تفعل ذلك من أجل عقد حلقات دراسية بالاقتران مع دورات لجنة القانون الدولي.

The Committee may also wish to draw the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 4 of resolution 50/206 C, in which the Assembly once again requested the Secretary-General " to ensure that documentation is available in accordance with the six-week rule for the distribution of documents, simultaneously in each of the six official languages of the United Nations " .

The Committee also draws the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 3 of resolution 53/208 B of 18 December 1998, in which the Assembly once again requested the Secretary-General “to ensure that documentation is available in accordance with the six-week rule for the distribution of documents simultaneously in each of the six official languages of the General Assembly”.
