Following deliberations, the Council approved the plan of work and requested the Secretary-General to issue the plan of work for exploration for polymetallic sulphides in the form of a contract between the Authority and the Government of the Russian Federation.
وعقب المداولات، وافق المجلس على خطة العمل وطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يصدر خطة عمل استكشاف الكبريتيدات المتعددة الفلزات في شكل عقد بين السلطة وحكومة الاتحاد الروسي.

12. In accordance with article 19 of the Supplementary Agreement, the entry into force of the Agreement requires approval by both the Assembly of the Authority and the Government of Jamaica.

The provision of $280,200 relates to rental of office premises and conference facilities at Kingston, and is based on the assumption that the terms and conditions would be the same as those prevailing in 1994 and 1995 for the Kingston Office for the Law of the Sea, pending the completion of the Agreement between the Authority and the Government of Jamaica.

265. In addition to the Relationship Agreement, a draft agreement concerning the relationship between the Authority and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea was drawn up in 1998, to be considered at its 1999 session together with the draft headquarters agreement between the Authority and the Government of Jamaica, the draft financial regulations and the draft staff regulations of the Authority.
٢٦٥ - وباﻹضافة إلى اتفاق العلاقة، أعد مشروع اتفاق بشأن العلاقة بين السلطة والمحكمة الدولية لقانون البحار في عام ١٩٩٨، وستنظر السلطة فيه في دورتها لعام ١٩٩٩ وفي مشروع اتفاق بين السلطة وحكومة جامايكا بشأن مقر السلطة، ومشروع النظام المالي، ومشروع النظام اﻷساسي لموظفي السلطة.

With the signature in August this year of the Headquarters Agreement between the Authority and the Government of Jamaica, and the adoption by the Council of the Financial Regulations of the Authority, I am pleased to report that the Authority has virtually completed the preparatory phase of its establishment.
ويســرني أن أفيدكم بأن الســـلطة قد أكملت فعلا مرحلة التحضير ﻹنشائها، وذلك بعد التوقيــع في آب/أغسطس من هذه السنة على اتــفاق المقــر بين السلطة وحكومة جــامايكا، واعتماد المجلس لﻷنـــظمة المالية للسلطة.

The draft headquarters agreement between the Authority and the Government of Jamaica (ISBA/3/C/L.3), the draft financial regulations and the draft staff regulations of the Authority will be considered during that session.
كما ستنظر السلطة في تلك الدورة في مشروع اتفاق بين السلطة وحكومة جامايكا بشأن مقر السلطة (ISBA/3/L.3)، ومشروع النظام المالي، ومشروع النظام اﻷساسي لموظفي السلطة.

Since the report of the Secretary-General was compiled in June 2002, the following developments have occurred in connection with the proposed supplementary agreement between the Authority and the Government of Jamaica relating to the use of the headquarters of the Authority (ISBA/8/A/5, sect. VI).

3. On 17 June 2014, the Government of the Republic of Korea agreed in writing to revise appendix II to the contract for exploration for polymetallic nodules in the Area between the Authority and the Government of the Republic of Korea, by incorporating standard clauses 10.5 and 10.6.
3 - وافقت حكومة جمهورية كوريا خطيا في 17 حزيران/يونيه 2014 على تنقيح التذييل الثاني لعقد استكشاف العقيدات المؤلفة من عدة معادن في المنطقة، المبرم بين السلطة وحكومة جمهورية كوريا، وذلك بإدراج البندين القياسيين 10-5 و 10-6.

3. On 17 June 2014, the Government of the Republic of Korea agreed in writing to revise appendix II to the contract for exploration for polymetallic nodules in the Area between the Authority and the Government of the Republic of Korea, by incorporating new standard clauses, Section 10.5 and 10.6.
3 - وافقت حكومة جمهورية كوريا خطيا في 17 حزيران/يونيه 2014 على تنقيح التذييل الثاني لعقد استكشاف العقيدات المؤلفة من عدة معادن في المنطقة، المبرم بين السلطة وحكومة جمهورية كوريا، وذلك بإدراج البندين القياسيين 10-5 و 10-6.

41. Notes with appreciation that a ceremony to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the opening for signature of the Convention was held by the Authority and the Government of Jamaica on 21 July 2012, at the site in Montego Bay where the Convention was originally opened for signature;

11 In accordance with article 19, the Supplementary Agreement shall enter into force on its approval by the Assembly of the Authority and the Government of Jamaica, and this Agreement shall be applied provisionally by the Authority and the Government of Jamaica upon signature by the Secretary-General of the Authority and on behalf of the Government of Jamaica.
(11) بموجب المادة 19، سيبدأ نفاذ الاتفاق التكميلي عند الموافقة عليه من قبل جمعية السلطة وحكومة جامايكا، وستنفذ السلطة وحكومة جامايكا هذا الاتفاق بشكل مؤقت عند التوقيع عليه بواسطة الأمين العام للسلطة وحكومة جامايكا.
