1. Overview of the summary by the CoChairs

At the request of the CoChairs of the Standing Committee on Victim Assistance, UNMAS supported a consultative process to identify priority areas for work in the period leading up to the review conference.
وبناء على طلب الرئيسين المشاركين للجنة الدائمة المعنية بمساعدة الضحايا، وفرت دائرة الإجراءات المتعلقة بالألغام الدعم اللازم لإجراء عملية تشاورية لتحديد مجالات العمل ذات الأولوية في المرحلة المفضية للمؤتمر الاستعراضي.

By the same decision the Parties also called for the CoChairs of the workshop to present an overview report on the outcomes of the workshop to the Working Group.
كما دعا الأطراف، بموجب نفس المقرر، الرئيسين المشاركين للفريق العامل إلى تقديم تقرير شامل عن نتائج حلقة العمل للفريق العامل.

17. The Preparatory Committee concluded its first session with closing statements by the CoChairs of the Committee and the Secretary-General of the Conference.

the CoChairs thanked him, noting the important contribution that Japan had made to the work and success to date of the technical expert group.

Furthermore, the CoChairs recommend that the Coordinating Committee, in a manner consistent with its mandate continue to be practical-minded and apply the principle of flexibility with respect to the format of Standing Committee meetings, and their sequencing and respective time allocations.
كما يوصي الرئيسان المتشاركان بأن تواصل لجنة التنسيق، بأسلوب يتفق وولايتها، انتهاج أسلوب عملي وتطبيق مبدأ المرونة فيما يتصل بشكل اجتماعات اللجنة الدائمة وتتابعها والوقت المخصص لها.

With respect to the Intersessional Programme during 2001-2002, the CoChairs recommend that States parties again endorse and express satisfaction with the work of the Standing Committees, and warmly welcome their reports.
وفيما يتعلق ببرنامج العمل فيما بين الدورات خلال الفترة 2001-2002 يوصي الرئيسان المتشاركان بأن تعيد الدول الأطراف تأييدها وإعرابها عن الارتياح لأعمال اللجان الدائمة وترحيبها الحار بتقاريرها.

With respect to the Meetings of the States parties, the CoChairs recommend that the Fifth Meeting of the States Parties take place in Bangkok from 15 to 19 September 2003.
وأما فيما يتعلق باجتماعات الدول الأطراف فيوصي الرئيسان المتشاركان بأن يعقد الاجتماع الخامس للدول الأطراف في بانكوك في الفترة من 15 إلى 19 أيلول/سبتمبر 2003.

The participants agreed to engage in the drafting of the document circulated by the CoChairs at the next round.
واتفق المشاركون على الشروع في صياغة الوثيقة التي عممها الرؤساء المشاركون في جولة المباحثات المقبلة.

Following the suggestion of one representative, speaking on behalf of a group of Parties, the Working Group agreed to refer the issues arising under the present sub-item to the group of friends of the CoChairs set up to consider the work programme of the Working Group for the period 2012 - 2013 (see chapter XI below) .
104- وبناء على اقتراح أحد المندوبين، متحدثاً بالنيابة عن مجموعة من الأطراف، وافق الفريق العامل على إحالة المسائل التي نشأت عن هذا البند الفرعي إلى مجموعة أصدقاء الرئيسيْن المشاركين التي شكلت للنظر في برنامج عمل الفريق العامل للفترة 2012 - 2013 (أنظر الفصل الحادي عشر أدناه).

In addition, given the usefulness of the Presidency's 27 May 2002 overview in providing a broad understanding of progress and challenges regarding key provisions of the Convention, and in setting the scene for more intensive dialogue during the course of the week of Standing Committee meetings, the CoChairs recommend that Coordinating Committee pursue a similar practice in 2002-2003.
وإضافة لهذا، ونظراً لفائدة العرض العام الصادر عن الرئاسة في 27 أيار/مايو 2002 في إتاحة تفهم واسع للتقدم وللتحديات فيما يتعلق بالأحكام الأساسية في الاتفاقية، وفي التهيئة لمزيد من الحوار المكثف طوال الأسبوع الذي تعقد فيه جلسات اللجنة الدائمة، فإن الرئيسين المتشاركين يوصيان بأن تواصل لجنة التنسيق اتباع الممارسة نفسها في الفترة 2002-2003.
