Pursuant to a decision by the Commission at its twenty-first session, in 1988, the Secretariat established a system for collecting and disseminating information on court decisions and arbitral awards relating to normative texts emanating from the work of the Commission (CLOUT). The features of that system are explained in the User Guide (A/CN.9/SER.C/GUIDE/1/Rev.1).

At its twentieth session in 1987, the Commission decided to reconsider the matter and requested the Secretariat to prepare a report. The report was before the Commission at its twenty-first session in 1988 (A/CN.9/299). The report recalled the decisions of the General Assembly with respect to the original membership in 1966 and the increased membership in 1973.
4- وفي دورتها العشرين في 1987، قررت اللجنة اعادة النظر في المسألة وطلبت الى الأمانة إعداد تقرير.(7) وعرض التقرير على اللجنة في دورتها الحادية والعشرين في 1988 (A/CN.9/299).(8) وأشار التقرير الى مقرري الجمعية العامة بشأن العضوية الأصلية للجنة في 1966 وبشأن زيادة العضوية في 1973.

Based on a decision by the Commission at its twenty-first session, in 1988 (A/43/17, paras. 98-109), the Secretariat established a system for collecting, and disseminating information on, court decisions and arbitral awards relating to normative texts emanating from the work of the Commission.

4. Requests the working group to continue to explore with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime the creation of an internal system to monitor the implementation of recommendations made by relevant oversight bodies, including the Office of Internal Oversight Services, the Joint Inspection Unit, the Board of Auditors and the Independent Evaluation Unit, and to report to the Commission at its twenty-first session on its work in that regard;
