The Ministers for Foreign Affairs members of the Committee of Five on Sierra Leone and the Minister of State responsible for foreign affairs of Togo and current Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) met in an extraordinary meeting in Abidjan on 28 December 1998 to consider recent developments in the situation in Sierra Leone.
١ - عقد وزراء خارجية اللجنة الخماسية المعنية بسيراليون ووزير الدولة المكلف بالشؤون الخارجية في حكومة توغو، بصفته الرئيس الحالي للجماعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا، اجتماعا استثنائيا في ٢٨ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨ في أبيدجان، للنظر في التطورات الحديثة للحالة في سيراليون.

4. The Ministers considered the report of the Chairman of the Committee of Five on the fact-finding visit to Freetown and its environs, undertaken upon the instructions of the Chairman of ECOWAS, General Sani Abacha, in the company of the Executive Secretary of ECOWAS, following the liberation of the city.
