Having examined the proposal for the establishment of the Conference on Science, Innovation and Information and Communications Technologies of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, and the proposed nature and the objectives of the Conference, as set forth in the annex to the present resolution,

6. The secretariat of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean shall serve as the secretariat of the Conference on Science, Innovation and Information and Communications Technologies.

Endorses the establishment of the Conference on Science, Innovation and Information and Communications Technologies of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean as one of the subsidiary bodies of the Commission, in accordance with Commission resolution 672 (XXXIV).
يؤيد إنشاء المؤتمر المعني بالعلوم والابتكار وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات للجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي بوصفه إحدى هيئاتها الفرعية، وفقا لقرار اللجنة 672 (د - 34).

1. the Conference on Science, Innovation and Information and Communications Technologies of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean shall be a subsidiary body of the Commission that will contribute to the progress of science, technology and innovation policies and activities in the countries of the region.

Approves the establishment of the Conference on Science, Innovation and Information and Communications Technologies of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean as one of the subsidiary bodies of the Commission, as set forth in the annex to the present resolution, together with the observations and suggestions included in the report of the Commission at its thirty-fourth session;
