٧- وأبلغ نائب الرئيس الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ أن اﻷمانة قامت بفحص طلبات قدمت للحصول على مركز المراقب من ثلاث منظمات حكومية دولية و١٢ منظمة غير حكومية بالاستناد إلى أحكام الفقرة ٦ من المادة ٧ من الاتفاقية ووفقاً لﻹجراءات التي قررها مؤتمر اﻷطراف بخصوص قبول المنظمات )انظر الوثيقة FCCC/SB/1997/INF.4(.

18. Several representatives of States parties welcomed the adoption of the Committee's provisional reporting guidelines and mentioned that they were in the process of preparing the initial report under article 73 of the Convention and in accordance with the guidelines.
18- ورحب العديد من ممثلي الدول الأطراف باعتماد المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة التي وضعتها اللجنة لإعداد التقارير وذكروا أنهم في طور إعداد التقرير الأولي بموجب المادة 73 من الاتفاقية ووفقاً للمبادئ التوجيهية.

640. The Ministers stressed that the future multilateral rule-based climate regime to be agreed by 2015 is under the Convention and in accordance with its principles and provisions, and that it should address the concerns of developing countries, especially the principle of equity, common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities;
640- شدَّد الوزراء على أن يكون إنشاء النظام المقبل المتعدد الأطراف للمناخ والمقرَّر الاتفاق عليه بحلول عام 2015 بموجب الاتفاقية ووفقاً لمبادئها وأحكامها، وينبغي أن يتصدى لانشغالات البلدان النامية خاصة مبادئ العدالة والمسؤوليات المشتركة وإن كانت متباينة والقدرات ذات الصلة.

10. At the same meeting, the AGBM was informed that applications for observer status from three intergovernmental and 21 non-governmental organizations had been screened by the secretariat on the basis of the provisions of Article 7.6 of the Convention and in accordance with the procedures established by the COP for the admission of organizations (see document FCCC/SB/1997/INF.4).
٠١- وفي الجلسة نفسها، أُبلغ الفريق بأن اﻷمانة قامت بفحص طلبات للحصول على مركز المراقب مقدمة من ثلاث منظمات حكومية دولية و١٢ منظمة غير حكومية وذلك على أساس أحكام المادة ٧-٦ من الاتفاقية ووفقاً لﻹجراءات التي حددها مؤتمر اﻷطراف لقبول المنظمات )انظر الوثيقة FCCC/SB/1997/INF.4(.

Recalling further decision 6/COP.6 of the Conference of the Parties to the UNCCD at its sixth session that accepts the GEF as a financial mechanism of the UNCCD pursuant to article 20, paragraph 2 (b) and article 21 of the Convention and in accordance with the GEF Instrument as amended;

Both the initial report submitted by Germany on 9 March 1992 and the present second periodic report submitted on 17 December 1996 were prepared in accordance with article 19 of the Convention and in accordance with the general guidelines concerning the form and content of reports.
وأعد كل من التقرير اﻷولي الذي قدمته ألمانيا في ٩ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٢ والتقرير المرحلي الثاني هذا المقدم في ١٧ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٦ عملا بالمادة ١٩ من الاتفاقية ووفقا للمبادئ التوجيهية العامة بشأن شكل التقارير ومحتواها.

The SBSTA will respond to any request by the AGBM for advice or support pursuant to Article 9.2(e) of the Convention and in accordance with decision 1/CP.1 on the Berlin Mandate and decision 6/CP.1, annex I, paragraph A5 (c), on the roles of the subsidiary bodies.
٢٤- ستستجيب الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية ﻷي طلب يقدمه الفريق المخصص المعني بالولاية المعتمدة في برلين للحصول على مشورة أو دعم بمقتضى المادة ٩ - ٢ )ﻫ( من الاتفاقية ووفقا للمقرر ١/م أ - ١ بشأن الولاية المعتمدة في برلين والمقرر ٦/م أ - ١، المرفق اﻷول، الفقرة ألف - ٥ )ج( بشأن أدوار الهيئتين الفرعيتين.
