In that decision, the Conference recalled the need for technical assistance providers to raise awareness and to emphasize the importance of the Convention and the Protocols thereto and the role of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in implementing those instruments.
كما أشار المؤتمر في ذلك المقرّر إلى ضرورة أن ينشر مقدّمو المساعدة التقنية الوعي بالاتفاقية والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها وبدور مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة في تنفيذ هذه الصكوك وأن يؤكدوا أهمية تلك الصكوك وذلك الدور.

One way to achieve these goals would be to require parties to undertake a comprehensive self-assessment of their compliance with the Convention and the Protocols.
ويمكن أن تكون إحدى وسائل تحقيق تلك الأهداف إلزام الأطراف بإجراء تقييم ذاتي شامل لامتثالها للاتفاقية والبروتوكولات.
