In its decision, the Conference of the Parties welcomed the invitation of the General Assembly to the secretariat of the Convention to report on how its activities were contributing to the implementation of Agenda 21 and the Programme for the Further Implementation of Agenda 21, for the consideration of the General Assembly at its fifty-fifth session.
