We read this to mean if those States have accepted the jurisdiction of the Court pursuant to their respective declarations lodged with the Registrar, then thereafter a specific crime falling within such jurisdiction would be admissible before the court.

While in this case the issue of validity arose in respect not of a reservation to a provision of the Convention, but of a " reservation " to the optional declaration whereby Turkey recognized the compulsory jurisdiction of the Court pursuant to articles 25 and 46 of the Convention, the lessons of the judgment can easily be transposed to the problem of reservations.
