وإذ يدرك أهمية تعبئة الموارد واﻷنشطة الترويجية اﻷخرى اللازمة للنجاح في تنفيذ برنامج العقد ومشاريعه على اﻷصعدة الوطنية ودون الاقليمية والاقليمية،

1. Requests the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme to favourably consider and continue to finance activities in support of the implementation of the Decade programme during the fifth programming cycle of the United Nations Development Programme;
١ - يطلب إلى مدير برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي أن ينظر بصورة ايجابية في تمويل أنشطة ترمي إلى دعم تنفيذ برنامج العقد خلال دورة البرمجة الخامسة لبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي وفي مواصلة هذا التمويل؛

The main recommendations from the evaluation were that the programmes should be streamlined, resource mobilization efforts for Decade projects should be intensified and the beneficiaries of the Decade programme should assume ownership.
وتدعو التوصيات الرئيسية الناشئة عن التقييم إلى تبسيط البرامج، ومضاعفة جهود تعبئة الموارد ﻷجل مشاريع العقد، كما تدعو إلى امتلاك المستفيدين لبرنامج العقد.

٢٠ - ونظمت مفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق اﻹنسان حلقتين دراسيتين دوليتين في إطار برنامج العقد.

Referring to General Assembly decision 46/456 of 20 December 1991 approving the launching of the Decade programme and providing resources for its implementation,
وإذ يشير إلى مقرر الجمعية العامة ٦٤/٤٥٦ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١، الذي يوافق على بدء برنامج العقد ويوفر الموارد اللازمة لتنفيذه،

(b) Revise the objectives and strategy of the Decade programme in the light of changed circumstances, if need be, in consultation with member States;

Subsequent resolutions of the General Assembly, the Commission on Human Rights and the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights have recommended additional activities, under the aegis of the Decade programme to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as well as to other United Nations organizations and specialized agencies.
وأوصت القرارات التي اتخذتها لاحقا الجمعية العامة ولجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لتعزيز حقوق اﻹنسان وحمايتها بأنشطة إضافية في إطار برنامج العقد لكي تضطلع بها المفوضية السامية لحقوق اﻹنسان وغيرها من منظمات اﻷمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة.

8. He also welcomed the many activities and intercultural projects carried out as part of the Decade in various regions of the world and the fact that agencies of the United Nations system had participated in the Decade programme.
٨ - وأعرب كذلك عن ترحيبه باﻷنشطة الكثيرة والمشاريع المشتركة بين الحضارات التي نفذت كجزء من العقد في مختلف أقاليم العالم، وبمساهمة جميع وكالات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في برنامج العقد.

A mid-term evaluation report of the Decade programme was examined by the Tenth Meeting of African Ministers of Transport and Communications held in May 1995.
وقد بحث الاجتماع العاشر لوزراء النقل والاتصالات اﻷفارقة، المعقود في أيار/مايو عام ١٩٩٥، التقرير المتعلق بتقييم برنامج العقد في منتصف مدته.

(هـ) مواصلة توسيع نطاق المشاورات العالمية مع جميع الجهات صاحبة المصلحة في البلدان النامية والمتقدمة النمو على السواء: ينبغي مواصلة التحاور بين المجتمع المدني والمؤسسات التجارية والشباب والحكومات من أجل ضمان الـمراعاة الواجبة لـوجهات نظر كافة الأطراف صاحبة المصلحة وإدماجها على النحو المناسب في برنامج العقد وإطار التنمية لما بعد عام 2015 والعمليات الأخرى ذات الصلة؛

28. In order to cover airfare, daily subsistence allowance and terminal expenses of the four Chairs of the Durban follow-up mechanisms for the launch, midterm review and final assessment of the Decade programme, it is estimated that $63,300 will be required for two trips of three days each to New York for the launch (2015) and for the final assessment of the programme (2024).
٢٨ - وتشير التقديرات إلى أن تغطية تكاليف الرحلات الجوية وبدل الإقامة اليومي، والمصروفات في محطات السفر للرؤساء الأربعة لآليات متابعة تنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر ديربان، لحضور انطلاق برنامج العقد واستعراض منتصف المدة والتقييم النهائي ستتطلب 300 63 دولار لرحلتين إلى نيويورك تستغرق كل منهما ثلاثة أيام لحضور انطلاق البرنامج (2015) واجتماع التقييم النهائي (2024).
