It urges the State party to incorporate fully the definition of racial discrimination stipulated in article 1 (1) of the Convention, into its legislation.
وتحث الدولة الطرف على أن تُدرج في تشريعها تحديد التمييز العنصري الوارد في المادة 1(1) من الاتفاقية بصورة كاملة.

It had no relation to the definition of racial discrimination nor did it have anything to do with the word `descent'. In view of the above, the use of the expression `descent'cannot be used to assert that the term `descent'as used in Article 1 (1) has a special meaning and that it must be taken as including caste-based discrimination.

(6) While noting the provisions of article 176 of the State party's Criminal Code on discrimination against ethnic persons and the various non-discrimination articles contained in other laws, such as the Labour Law and the Law on Health Care, the Committee remains concerned that they do not include all elements of the definition of racial discrimination under article 1 of the Convention (art. 1, para. 2).
