1. In its resolution 1998/25 of 26 August 1998, the Sub—Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities decided to transmit the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance to the Commission on Human Rights for its consideration, together with the comments of the Sub—Commission thereon, as well as those of the sessional working group on the administration of justice.
١- قررت اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات، في قرارها ١٩٩٨/٢٥ المؤرخ ٢٦ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٨، إحالة مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع اﻷشخاص من الاختفاء القسري إلى لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان للنظر فيه، مشفوعا بتعليقات اللجنة الفرعية عليه، باﻹضافة إلى تعليقات الفريق العامل للدورة المعني بإقامة العدل.

(j) To continue to formulate comments on the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19, annex) transmitted by the SubCommission in its resolution 1998/25 of 26 August 1998;
(ي) أن يواصل صياغة تعليقاته بشأن مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19، المرفق) الــذي أحالته اللجنة الفرعية في قرارها 1998/25 المؤرخ 26 آب/أغسطس 1998؛

40. In its resolution 1998/25, the Sub-Commission decided to transmit the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19, annex) to the Commission on Human Rights for its consideration.
40- قررت اللجنة الفرعية، في قرارها 1998/25، أن تحيل مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19، المرفق) إلى لجنة حقوق الإنسان كي تنظر فيه.

41. At its fiftysecond session, the SubCommission, in its resolution 2000/18, recommended that the Commission on Human Rights establish an intersessional working group to consider the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance, and urged the Commission to continue to give priority consideration to the draft convention.
41- وقد أوصت اللجنة الفرعية، في قرارها 2000/18 الذي اعتمدته في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، بأن تنشئ لجنة حقوق الإنسان فريقا عاملا بين الدورات للنظر في مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري، وحثت اللجنة على مواصلة النظر في مشروع الاتفاقية على سبيل الأولوية.

(j) To formulate comments on the draft international convention on the protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19, annex) transmitted by the SubCommission in its resolution 1998/25 of 26 August 1998;
(ي) أن يقدم تعليقاته بشـأن مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفــاء القسري (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19، المرفق) الــذي أحالته اللجنة الفرعية في قرارها 1998/25 المؤرخ 26 آب/أغسطس 1998؛

Recalling its resolution 1999/24 of 26 August 1999, in which it urged the Commission to give priority consideration to the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance on account of the nature and degree of the suffering of the disappeared and of their families and friends,
وإذ تذكر بقرارها 1999/24 المؤرخ 26 آب/أغسطس 1999، الذي حثت فيه لجنة حقوق الإنسان على النظر على سبيل الأولوية في مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري بسبب طبيعة ودرجة معاناة الأشخاص المختفين وأفراد أسرهم وأصدقائهم،

1. Recommends that the Commission on Human Rights, in the light of the fact that it has recently concluded its consideration of the draft optional protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, establish an intersessional working group to consider the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance;
1- توصي بأن تقوم لجنة حقوق الإنسان، بعد أن انتهت مؤخراً من النظر في مشروعي البروتوكولين الاختياريين الملحقين باتفاقية حقوق الطفل، بإنشاء فريق عامل بين الدورات لينظر في مشروع الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري؛

1. Decides to transmit the draft international convention on the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance to the Commission on Human Rights for its consideration, together with the comments of the Sub—Commission thereon as well as those of the sessional working group on the administration of justice (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1998/19, paras. 9—64);
