1- قرر المؤتمر السنوي الثامن للدول الأطراف في البروتوكول الثاني المعدَّل الملحق باتفاقية حظر أو تقييد استعمال أسلحة تقليدية معينة يمكن اعتبارها مفرطة الضرر أو عشوائية الأثر، الذي عُقد في جنيف في 6 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006، أن يعقد اجتماعاً لمدة يوم واحد للمؤتمر السنوي التاسع للدول الأطراف في عام 2007.

37. The PRESIDENT invited the delegations to express their views on the estimated costs of the Third Review Conference, including the Eighth Annual Conference of the States parties to Amended Protocol II, and of the three sessions to be held by the Group of Governmental Experts in 2006, which had been issued under the symbols CCW/MSP/2005/L.1 and L.2 respectively, and which would appear as annexes III and IV to the report of the Meeting.

1- قرر المؤتمر السنوي السابع للدول الأطراف في البروتوكول الثاني المعدَّل الملحق باتفاقية حظر أو تقييد استعمال أسلحة تقليدية معينة يمكن اعتبارها مفرطة الضرر أو عشوائية الأثر، الذي عُقد في جنيف في 23 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005، أن يعقد اجتماعاً لمدة يوم واحد للمؤتمر السنوي الثامن للدول الأطراف في 2006.

11. Requests the Secretary-General to render the necessary assistance and to provide such services, including summary records, as may be required for the Eighth Annual Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Amended Protocol II to the Convention on 6 November 2006 and for the Third Review Conference, and for any possible continuation of work after the Conference, should the States parties deem it appropriate;

It also considered the estimated costs of the Eighth Annual Conference and recommended them for adoption at the time of the Conference in 2006 (CCW/AP.II/CONF.7/2, Annex IV). The Meeting of the States Parties to the Convention, held on 24 and 25 November 2005, decided, as contained in paragraph 37 of its Report (CCW/MSP/2005/2), that the Eighth Annual Conference of the States Parties to Amended Protocol II be held on 6 November 2006 at Geneva.
