6. In accordance with the General Assembly's request in resolution 62/69, paragraph 10, for voluntary contributions to the trust fund for the elimination of the backlog in the Repertoire, a note verbale had been sent to all Permanent Missions to the United Nations.

The Advisory Committee recommended that details concerning the programme for the elimination of the backlog in the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs be provided in the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2002-2003, along with an explanation of measures taken to ensure effective coordination on the elimination of the backlog as well as to ensure the timely production of future volumes (para. III.16).
وأوصت اللجنة الاستشارية بأن تُوفَّر التفاصيل المتعلقة ببرنامج إنهاء الأعمال المتأخرة المتراكمة في مرجع ممارسات هيئات الأمم المتحدة في الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة لفترة السنتين 2002 - 2003، مع شرح التدابير المتخذة لضمان فعالية التنسيق في إنهاء الأعمال المتأخرة المتراكمة وكذلك لضمان إنتاج المجلدات في الوقت المناسب مستقبلا. Those delegations also welcomed the dissemination work of the Codification Division and the Division of Conference Management of the United Nations Office at Geneva, as well as the voluntary contributions made to the trust fund for the elimination of the backlog in the publication of the Yearbook of the International Law Commission.
