My delegation wishes to underscore that the current setbacks in the multilateral disarmament process should serve as a call to Member States to redouble their concerted efforts for the search of practical and far-reaching measures of disarmament first and foremost in the field of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and nuclear disarmament.

Bulgaria supports the EU Common Position adopted in November 2003 on the universalization and reinforcement of multilateral agreements in the field of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.
تؤيد بلغاريا موقف الاتحاد الأوروبي الموحد الذي اتخذه في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2003 بشأن تعميم وتعزيز الاتفاقات المتعددة الأطراف في مجال عدم انتشار أسلحة الدمار الشامل ووسائل إيصالها.

Federal Act of the Russian Federation No. 63-FZ of 13 June 1996 " On the implementation of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation " contains articles penalizing violations of international obligations in the field of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
ويتضمن القانون الاتحادي رقم 63-ق إ للاتحاد الروسي، المؤرخ 13 حزيران/يونيه 1996 " بشأن تنفيذ القانون الجنائي للاتحاد الروسي " مواد تعاقب على انتهاك الالتزامات الدولية في مجال عدم انتشار أسلحة الدمار الشامل.

The EU also adopted a Common Position 2003/805/CFSP of 17 November 2003 on the universalisation and reinforcement of multilateral agreements in the field of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and means of delivery, in which, inter alia, the EU expressed the objective of promoting the early entry into force of the CTBT.

Croatia is contributing to international efforts within the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in the Board of Governors, for the period 2007-2008.
