Statement issued by the Government following the Fifteenth Summit Meeting of the Regional Peace Initiative on Burundi, held in Arusha on 23 July 2001
خطاب الحكومة في أعقاب مؤتمر القمة الخامس عشر للمبادرة الإقليمية للسلام في بوروندي المعقود في أروشا يوم 23 تموز/يوليه 2001

1. Following the recent meeting of the signatories to the Arusha Agreement and the Fifteenth Summit Meeting of the Regional Peace Initiative on Burundi, the Government would like to address three topics:
1 - على إثر الاجتماع الذي عقدته مؤخرا الأطراف الموقعة على اتفاق أروشا ومؤتمر القمة الخامس عشر للمبادرة الإقليمية للسلام في بوروندي، تود الحكومة أن توجه إليكم خطابا من ثلاث نقط هي:

Improving the working methods of the Security Council is of great importance to the Movement, as reflected in the relevant paragraphs of the Final Document of the Fifteenth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement and in several initiatives presented by the Movement throughout the years since the Security Council reform process was launched.
وتحسين أساليب عمل مجلس الأمن يتصف بأهمية كبرى للحركة، مثلما تبينه الفقرات ذات الصلة من الوثيقة الختامية لمؤتمر القمة الخامس عشر لحركة عدم الانحياز، والمبادرات العديدة التي قدمتها الحركة طوال السنين منذ إطلاق عملية إصلاح مجلس الأمن.

- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the principles and provisions of the Constitution and domestic laws of the Republic of Guatemala and the guidelines formulated at the Fifteenth Summit of Central American Presidents, held at Guácimo, Costa Rica;

The delegation of Honduras in supporting the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development bases itself on the Declaration of the Fifteenth Summit of Central American Presidents, adopted at Guácimo de Limón, Costa Rica, on 20 August 1994 and bases itself specifically on the following:

We, the Heads of State and Government of the Movement of the Non-Aligned Countries, gathered in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on 15 and 16 July 2009 at the Fifteenth Summit of the Movement,
نحن، رؤساء دول وحكومات حركة عدم الانحياز المجتمعين في شرم الشيخ، مصر، خلال الفترة من 15 إلى 16 تموز/يوليه 2009 في القمة الخامسة عشرة للحركة،

We also support the proclamation of the Andean peace area, contained in the San Francisco de Quito Declaration of 12 July, adopted at the Fifteenth Summit of the Presidents of the Andean countries; this act promotes peaceful coexistence among the countries of the subregion: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
ونؤيد أيضاً إعلان منطقة الأنديز للسلام الوارد في إعلان 12تموز/يوليه الصادر في سان فرانسيسكو دي كويتو، الذي أقرته القمة الخامسة عشرة لرؤساء بلدان الأنديز؛ إن هذا العمل يشجع على التعايش السلمي بين بلدان المنطقة دون الإقليمية التي هي إكوادور وبوليفيا وبيرو وفنزويلا وكولومبيا.
