(p) Promote actions in support of the Convention to Combat Desertification and the development of national, subregional and regional action programmes and assist in the preparation of projects for submission for Global Environment Facility financing in land degradation as it relates to the focal areas of the Facility;
)ع( تشجيع اﻹجراءات المتخذة دعما لاتفاقية مكافحة التصحر ووضع برامج عمل وطني ودون إقليمية وإقليمية والمساعدة في إعداد المشاريع لتقديمها إلى مرفق البيئة العالمي من أجل التمويل فيما يتعلق بتدهور اﻷراضي من حيث صلته بالمجالات التي يركز عليها المرفق؛

4. Requests the Executive Director to continue efforts to secure and enhance support from the Global Environment Facility for providing assistance to countries to carry out activities related to land degradation in view of the interlinkages between land degradation and the focal areas of the Facility;
٤ - يطلب إلى المدير التنفيذي مواصلة بذل الجهود لضمان وتشجيع الدعم من مرفق البيئة العالمية لتقديم المساعدة إلى البلدان للقيام باﻷنشطة المتصلة بتدهور اﻷراضي، نظرا للروابط المشتركة بين تدهور اﻷراضي ومجالات التركيز للمرفق؛

Also relevant is the sound chemicals management (SCM) cross-cutting issue area, which supports integrated projects in the focal areas of biodiversity, climate change, international waters, and land degradation that, among other objectives, may bring co-benefits related to chemicals management.
كما أنّ مجال التركيز الشامل المعني بالإدارة السليمة للمواد الكيميائية له صلة بهذه الخيارات، وهو يدعم المشاريع المتكاملة ضمن مجالات التركيز المعنية بالتنوع البيولوجي وتغير المناخ والمياه الدولية وتدهور التربة، مما يحقق جملة من الأهداف منها منافع مشتركة لفائدة إدارة المواد الكيميائية.

Requests the Executive Director to strengthen collaboration between the Programme and the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme, with a view to enhancing assistance from the Global Environment Facility to countries for activities related to land degradation, given the interlinkages between land degradation and the focal areas of the Global Environment Facility;
7 - يطلب إلى المدير التنفيذي أن يعزز التعاون بين البرنامج، والبنك الدولي وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، بغية زيادة المساعدة المقدمة مرفق البيئة العالمية إلى البلدان للقيام بأنشطة تتصل بتدهور الأراضي، نظراً للروابط المشتركة بين تدهور الأراضي ومجالات التركيز الخاصة لمرفق البيئة العالمية؛

Also relevant is the sound chemicals management cross-cutting issue area, which supports integrated projects in the focal areas of biodiversity, climate change, international waters, and land degradation that, among other objectives, may bring co-benefits related to chemicals management.
كما أنّ مجال التركيز الشامل المعني بالإدارة السليمة للمواد الكيميائية له صلة بهذه الخيارات، وهو يدعم المشاريع المتكاملة ضمن مجالات التركيز المعنية بالتنوع البيولوجي وتغير المناخ والمياه الدولية.()
