The Committee considered questions related to the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance at its seventy-fourth and seventy-fifth sessions, and actively contributed to preparations for and follow-up to the Durban Review Conference.

Conscious of its own responsibilities in the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance and the 2009 Review Conference and of the need to strengthen its capacity to fully discharge these responsibilities,

A joint meeting was again held with chairpersons of the human rights treaty bodies, which discussed the status of implementation of recommendations by special procedures, and the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.
وقد عُقد ثانية اجتماع مشترك مع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات، نوقشت فيه حالة تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن المقررين الخاصين، ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وتنفيذ إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان.
