The workshop decided to convene inter-sessional workshops addressing issues under each of the four areas of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation and welcomed the decision of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to allocate funds for the projects foreseen within the Framework.
وقررت حلقة العمل عقد حلقات عمل لمعالجة القضايا في المجالات الأربعة لإطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ ورحبت بقرار مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان تخصيص اعتمادات لتمويل تنفيذ المشروعات المتوخاة في هذا الإطار.

6. Welcomes the indepth discussions held during the tenth Workshop reviewing developments in the Asian and Pacific region over the past year in the four priority areas under the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation Programme in the Asian and Pacific Region;
6- ترحب بالمناقشات المتعمقة التي دارت أثناء حلقة العمل العاشرة التي قامت باستعراض التطورات في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ خلال العام الماضي في المجالات الأربعة ذات الأولوية المحددة في إطار برنامج التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

Finally, participants welcomed the adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance (see A/CONF.189/12, chap. I) and decided to include the implementation of the Programme of Action as an integral part of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asia-Pacific Region.
وأخيرا، رحَّب المشاركون باعتماد إعلان وبرنامج عمل المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وقرروا إدماج تنفيذ برنامج العمل بوصفه جزءا لا يتجزأ من إطار للتعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

Regional cooperation was also decisive for the promotion of human rights. A series of regional workshops had allowed a consensus to be reached on the principles of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation in the Asian and Pacific region.
كذلك فإن التعاون الإقليمي هامٌ لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان، وقد أتاحت سلسلة من حلقات العمل الإقليمية التوصل إلى توافق في الآراء بشأن مبادئ إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

Underlining its commitment to developing and strengthening national capacities for the promotion and protection of human rights through regional cooperation and sharing of experiences, the workshop adopted the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation in the Asian and Pacific Region.
كما اعتمدت حلقة العمل إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، تأكيداً لالتزامها بتطوير وتدعيم القدرات الوطنية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها من خلال التعاون الإقليمي وتقاسم الخبرات.

60. Welcome the offer of the Government of the Republic of Palau to host an annual or an intersessional workshop within the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation.
60- يرحبون بعرض حكومة جمهورية بالاو لاستضافة حلقة عمل سنوية أو حلقة تعقد بين الدورات ضمن إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي.

The Assembly also noted with interest the further developments in the implementation of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asia-Pacific Region, which was enhancing technical cooperation in the promotion and protection of human rights in the region.
ولاحظت أيضا الجمعية مع الاهتمام التطورات الأخرى التي حدثت في تنفيذ إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، وهو ما يشجع التعاون التقني في مجال تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في المنطقة.

The New Delhi workshop reviewed progress since Tehran in the four areas identified in the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation in the Asian and Pacific Region.
7- واستعرضت حلقة عمل نيودلهي التقدم المحرز منذ حلقة عمل طهران في المجالات الأربعة المحددة في إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

Note that in each of the four areas of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asian and Pacific Region it is appropriate to undertake activities in support of action to combat racism and related forms of discrimination;
`3` يلاحظون أن من المناسب، في كل مجال من المجالات الأربعة المحددة ضمن إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، الاضطلاع بأنشطة لدعم العمل الرامي إلى مكافحة العنصرية وما يتصل بها من أشكال التمييز؛

6. Recognize the close relationship between and mutually supporting nature of the activities undertaken within the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asian and Pacific Region, and otherwise, in the region for the promotion and protection of human rights;
6- يسلمون بالعلاقة الوثيقة وطابع الدعم المتبادل بين الأنشطة المضطلع بها ضمن إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ وفي مجالات أخرى ضمن هذه المنطقة لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها؛

7. Emphasize the importance of undertaking activities under the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asian and Pacific Region at the national and subregional levels with the assistance of the concerned Governments, national institutions and civil society;
7- يشددون على أهمية الاضطلاع بأنشطة ضمن إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ على المستويات الوطنية ودون الإقليمية بمساعدة من الحكومات المعنية والمؤسسات الوطنية والمجتمع المدني؛

10. Welcome the proposal made by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to continue the implementation of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asian and Pacific Region;
10- يرحبون بالاقتراح المقدم من مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان الذي يدعو إلى مواصلة تنفيذ إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

13. Invite parliaments, national institutions and civil society groups to participate, as appropriate, in the development and implementation of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asian and Pacific Region;
13- يدعون البرلمانات، والمؤسسات الوطنية، وفئات المجتمع المدني، إلى المشاركة حسب الاقتضاء في تطوير وتنفيذ إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

Recalling the important contributions made by previous workshops and in particular the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation agreed to at the Tehran workshop, held from 28 February to 2 March 1998,
إذ يشيرون إلى ما قدمته حلقات العمل السابقة من إسهامات هامة وبشكل خاص إطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي الذي اتفق عليه في حلقة عمل طهران التي عقدت في الفترة من 28 شباط/فبراير إلى 2 ذار/مارس 1998،

8. Acknowledge the importance of Governments undertaking regional, subregional and national activities for the implementation of technical cooperation in the Asian and Pacific Region in accordance with the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation in partnership with parliaments, national institutions, relevant experts and civil society organizations;
8- يسلمون بأهمية اضطلاع الحكومات بأنشطة إقليمية ودون إقليمية ووطنية من أجل تحقيق التعاون التقني في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ وفقاً لإطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي على أساس الشراكة مع البرلمانات، والمؤسسات الوطنية، والخبراء المختصين، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني؛

15. Call upon the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to report on progress achieved in the implementation of technical cooperation in the Asian and Pacific region in accordance with the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation to the Ninth Workshop.
15- يطلبون إلى المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تقدم إلى حلقة العمل التاسعة تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز في تحقيق التعاون التقني في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ وفقا لإطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي لهذه المنطقة.

2. In preparation for the Workshop, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) commissioned Professor Vitit Muntarbhorn of Thailand to update his review and evaluation of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation in Asia and the Pacific (the AsiaPacific Framework) carried out in 2001.
2- ولدى الإعداد لحلقة العمل، أسند مكتب مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، إلى البروفسور فيتي مونتاربهورن من تايلند مهمة استيفاء مراجعته وتقييمه لإطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ (إطار آسيا - المحيط الهادئ) الذي أجراه في عام 2001.

Through these and prior workshops (in particular the workshops held at Amman in 1997, Tehran in 1998, New Delhi in 1999 and Beijing in 2000), a consensus was reached on the principles of the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation for the Asia-Pacific Region.
