There will be a meeting of the Group of Interested States established in pursuance of General Assembly resolution 52/ 38 G (Consolidation of peace through practical disarmament measures) on Tuesday, 12 December 2000, at 11 a.m. in Conference Room D. The meeting will review the status of undergoing projects of practical disarmament and will hear new proposals in this field.
سيعقد اجتماع لفريق الدول المهتمة المنشأ عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 52/38 زاي (توطيد السلم من خلال تدابير عملية لنزع السلاح) وذلك يوم الثلاثاء، 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، الساعة 00/11 في غرفة الاجتماعات D. وسوف يستعرض الاجتماع وضع المشاريع الجارية المتعلقة بالتدابير العملية لنزع السلاح كما سيستمع إلى مقترحات جديدة في هذا المجال.

On the basis of discussions among Germany, in its capacity as the Chairman of the Group of Interested States on practical disarmament measures,2 and a number of other members of the Group, the Trust Fund for the Consolidation of Peace through Practical Disarmament Measures, was established by the Secretary-General in August 1998.
