53. At its 736th meeting, held on 3 October 2001, the Committee adopted the guidelines regarding initial reports to be submitted by States parties under article 8, paragraph 1, of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict.
53- في الجلسة 736 التي عقدت في 3 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2001، اعتمدت اللجنة المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالتقارير الأولية المطلوب تقديمها من الدول الأطراف بموجب الفقرة 1 من المادة 8 من البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن إشراك الأطفال في النـزاعات المسلحة.

At its 736th meeting, held on 3 October 2001, the Committee adopted the guidelines regarding initial reports to be submitted by States Parties under article 8 (1) of the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict (CRC/OP/AC/1).
748- اعتمدت اللجنة في جلستها 736، المعقودة في 3 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2001، المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالتقارير الأولية التي ينبغي للدول الأطراف تقديمها بموجب أحكام المادة 8-1 من البروتوكول الاختياري المتعلق باشتراك الأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة (CRC/OP/AC/1).

44. Recalling the guidelines regarding page limits set by the General Assembly in its resolutions 52/214 and 57/283, the Group reiterated that they should be implemented with some flexibility, without adversely affecting either the quality of the presentation or the substantive content of the documents.
44 - وأشار إلى المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بتحديد عدد الصفحات التي وضعتها الجمعية العامة في قراريها 52/214 و 57/283، فكرر تأكيد المجموعة على أنه ينبغي إعمال هذه المبادئ بقدر من المرونة، وذلك دون التأثير بشكل سيئ على جودة العرض أو على المضمون الموضوعي للوثائق.

(2) The Committee welcomes the fifth periodic report of Luxembourg, which is in conformity with the guidelines regarding the form and contents of periodic reports, and notes that it was submitted on time.

51. The Committee recommends that the State party’s next report, due on 6 March 1998, be a comprehensive one and follow the guidelines regarding the form and content of reports.
١٥- وتوصي اللجنة بأن يكون تقرير الدولة الطرف المقبل، المنتظر تقديمه في ٦ آذار/مارس ٨٩٩١، شاملاً، وبأن يتبع المبادئ التوجيهية فيما يتعلق بشكل التقارير ومضمونها.
