34. In section II.A, paragraphs 10 and 11 of its resolution 60/236 B, the General Assembly reaffirmed that all meetings of Nairobi-based United Nations bodies should take place in Nairobi, except as otherwise authorized by the General Assembly or the Committee on Conferences acting on its behalf, and strongly discouraged any invitation to host meetings that would violate the headquarters rule at the United Nations Office at Nairobi.
