Many resolutions and decisions have been adopted that are aimed at the genuine exercise of the inalienable rights of the inhabitants of those Territories to self-determination in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly.
وقد اتُخذت قرارات ومقررات عديدة تهدف إلى أن يمارس سكان تلك الأقاليم بشكل حقيقي حقوقهم غير القابلة للتصرف في تقرير المصير وفقا للقرارات ذات الصلة للجمعية العامة.

4. Urges the administering Powers and other Member States to ensure that the activities of foreign economic and other interests in colonial Territories do not run counter to the interests of the inhabitants of those Territories and do not impede the implementation of the Declaration;
4 - تحث الدول القائمة بالإدارة والدول الأعضاء الأخرى على أن تضمن أن لا تكون أنشطة المصالح الأجنبية، الاقتصادية وغيرها، في الأقاليم المستعمرة متعارضة مع مصالح سكان تلك الأقاليم ومعرقلة لتنفيذ الإعلان؛

4. Urges the administering Powers and other Member States to ensure that the activities of foreign economic and other interests in colonial Territories do not run counter to the interests of the inhabitants of those Territories and do not impede the implementation of the Declaration;
4 - تحث الدول القائمة بالإدارة والدول الأعضاء الأخرى على ضمان ألا تتعارض أنشطة المصالح الاقتصادية والمصالح الأخرى الأجنبية في الأقاليم المستعمرة مع مصالح سكان تلك الأقاليم وألا تعرقل تنفيذ الإعلان؛

3. Invites all States to make or continue to make generous offers of study and training facilities to the inhabitants of those Territories that have not yet attained self-government or independence and, wherever possible, to provide travel funds to prospective students;
3 - تدعو جميع الدول إلى تقديم، أو مواصلة تقديم، عروض سخية بتوفير تسهيلات دراسية وتدريبية لسكان الأقاليم التي لم تنل بعد الحكم الذاتي أو الاستقلال، وإلى القيام، كلما أمكن ذلك، بتوفير الأموال اللازمة لسفر الطلاب المقبلين؛

It was obliged to go into the dilemma facing the inhabitants of those Territories and induce the administering Power to engage in a dialogue, while defending their interests.
إن عليها التصدي لهذه المعضلة التي تواجه سكان هذه الأقاليم وحضّ الدولة القائمة بالإدارة على الدخول في حوار، مع الحفاظ على مصالحهم.

In this regard, they expressed their concern about the activities of those foreign economic, financial, and other interests that exploit the natural and human resources of the Non-Self-Governing Territories to the detriment of the interests of the inhabitants of those Territories and deprive them of their right to control the wealth of their countries.
وفي هذا الصدد، أعربوا عن قلقهم إزاء النشاطات التي تمارسها جهات اقتصادية ومالية وغيرها من المصالح الأجنبية التي تستغل الموارد الطبيعية والبشرية للأقاليم التي لا تتمتع بحكم ذاتي وعلى حساب مصالح سكان هذه الأقاليم وتحرمهم من حقهم في التحكم في ثرواتهم الوطنية، فأدانوا هذه الممارسات .

49. The report also made it clear that the Israeli occupation was using the Israeli settlements as a tool for what could be called environmental terrorism directed against the inhabitants of those Territories.
٤٩ - واستطرد قائلا إن التقرير يجعل من الواضح أيضا أن الاحتلال اﻹسرائيلي يتخذ من المستوطنات اﻹسرائيلية أداة لما يمكن تسميته باﻹرهاب البيئي الموجﱠه ضد سكان تلك اﻷراضي.
