(a) Encourage Governments and all relevant stakeholders and international organizations to contribute to the celebration of the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010;
(أ) تشجع الحكومات والجهات صاحبة المصلحة المعنية والمنظمات الدولية على الإسهام في الاحتفال بالسنة الدولية للتنوع البيولوجي في عام 2010؛

Calls upon all Member States to commemorate the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010 and to take advantage of the Year to increase awareness of the importance of biodiversity for the achievement of sustainable development by promoting action at the local, national, regional and international levels;

(d) Endorse the draft resolution submitted by the Conference of the Parties (decision IX/33, annex) and convene a special high-level event on the eve of the sixty-fifth session of the General Assembly, with the participation of Heads of State or Government, to mark the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010 and renew their commitment to reducing biodiversity loss;
(د) تؤيد مشروع القرار المقدم من مؤتمر الأطراف (المقرر تاسعا/33، المرفق) وتعقد مناسبة خاصة رفيعة المستوى عشية انعقاد الدورة الخامسة والستين للجمعية العامة بمشاركة رؤساء الدول والحكومات للاحتفال بالسنة الدولية للتنوع البيولوجي في 2010 وتجديد التزامهم بالحد من فقدان التنوع البيولوجي؛

24. At its sixty-third session, the General Assembly decided to convene, as a contribution to the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010, a one-day high-level meeting of the General Assembly, with participation of heads of State, Governments and delegations.
24 - قررت الجمعية العامة، في دورتها الثالثة والستين، أن تعقد، كمساهمة منها في السنة الدولية للتنوع البيولوجي في عام 2010، اجتماعا رفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة، بمشاركة رؤساء الدول، والحكومات والوفود.
